Snakes & Property Ladders

SHARED OWNERSHIP WEEK 2019

Shared Ownership Week is an awareness week that brings the top organisations in property together, offering a range of expert advice and quality London properties – all with the view of enabling first time buyers to gain a foot on the property ladder.

BRIEF

We were briefed to put the message across that in the face of escalating property prices, first time buyers can gain invaluable guidance that will enable them to buy in London through shared ownership.

CHALLENGE

London living wages for young professionals are wildly disproportionate to the ever-increasing property prices. Shared Ownership Week wanted to reveal that despite this growing gap, first time buyers were still able to get on the property ladder.

SOLUTION

Kemosabe developed a campaign concept of 'Snakes and Property Ladders'. This played on the difficulties today’s first-time buyers come across when having to rent while trying to buy. This full 360 campaign featured across London’s underground, network rail, press, digital, social, podcasts and London Home Show event.

"The truth hurts. None more so than Kemosabe's latest campaign for Shared Ownership Week which absolutely nails how it feels to be a renter and first-time buyer in London. Snakes and Property Ladders is brilliantly observant, created cut through, connected face on with its audience and ultimately smashed our KPI's. Good work guys!"
